WIDIAG has the capability to install machine software in the different control units of Wirtgen Group machines. This installation is carried out using different interfaces (RS232, CAN, ETHERNET), all of which WIDIAG is capable of managing.

One other task is machine parameterization, in which a link is created either through CAN bus or Ethernet, allowing for the examination and adjustment of the machine’s data.

The user has the option to access the values via function groups or create a customized watch list specifically for machine diagnostics. The watch list enables the user to record and later analyze measured values over a specific timeframe, thereby facilitating the identification of sporadic errors.

WIDIAG has the fourth feature of generating an IPR release code. This release code allows the display on a Wirtgen Group machine to be temporarily activated for specific settings. This allows for the adjustment of current values for hydraulic components and the activation of options.
